Many steps of the research process can be completed prior to your arrival at the Museum. Advanced planning on your part will increase the amount of time you will have to work with the materials when you arrive on-site. To identify materials of interest to you—both published and unpublished—please refer to the online search catalog at www.lamoth.info.
1. Prior to conducting research visitors must submit a completed "Application for Access” form, describing the research project and/or indicating the items to be viewed. 2. The specific artifacts will be agreed upon before the scheduled visit. 3. All visitors are required to check in with security upon their arrival to the museum. Our Security staff will issue a temporary ID badge which must be worn at all times while in the museum. 4. Certain material in our collection may be unavailable for research. 5. Museum collection material must be viewed in the archive and may not be removed from the area at any time. No smoking, eating, flash photography, or drinking is allowed in the archive. 6. Visitors must exercise care when handling and/or photographing collection material. Many items are fragile, valuable and/or irreplaceable. By clicking "submit" you agree to these terms.
